Meet Our Team

Dr Monika Steindl – Principal Dentist, Practice Owner

GDC number 102536

I qualified in 1997 as a dentist having trained for 6 years at the Medical Faculty of Masaryk University, Brno – the second largest university in the Czech Republic. I started my professional career as an Assistant Teacher of medical undergraduates at the Department of maxillo-facial surgery before progressing on to the Department of Conservative and Child Dentistry at the most prestigious Faculty Hospital Bratislava in the capital city of Slovak Republic. After a short break due to maternity leave, I opened my successful private dental practice in 2004.

In 2006 I relocated to the United Kingdom, and I worked as an associate dentist in Southampton, Salisbury and Sturminster Newton and also for Hampshire Emergency Dental Services.

Dentistry is my passion and hobby and from an early stage in my career I developed a very deep interest in cosmetic dentistry and later in facial rejuvenation.

I have taken part in numerous dental courses led by some of the world′s most renowned dentists. In January 2015 I successfully completed a one year course at Tipton Dental Academy Manchester and was awarded with Certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry.

I am multilingual, my first language being Hungarian and I also speak English, Slovak and Czech.

My patients have always appreciated my attentive and caring attitude, and I have always been popular with nervous patients due to my relaxed, friendly and gentle chair-side manner. I have been frequently accused of being a perfectionist in my work. In my free time I enjoy keeping fit, reading, travelling and spending lots of time with my son and husband.

Roland Steindl – Practice Owner

I played a major part in establishing, building and decorating Finest Smile Dental Studio and at present I help manage the premises as well as aiding the smooth day-to-day running of the practice. My latest project has been building the two brand new surgeries to enable our recruitment of three specialist hygienists to reduce waiting times for hygiene appointments.

Octavian graduated from the University of Dental Medicine in Bucharest in 2001. After successfully running his own private practice in his hometown, he relocated to England in 2007 where he started working as a general dental practitioner.

His passion has always been the restorative part of dentistry but he soon developed a very keen interest in Root Canal treatment procedures and the restoration of broken down teeth. He is inclined to be very explicative in communication, patient oriented, calm and empathetic with patients.
