Meet our Team

Monika qualified as a dentist in 1997 after six years of training at the Medical Faculty of Masaryk University, Brno, the second largest university in Czechia. She started her professional career as an assistant teacher of medical undergraduates in the Maxillofacial Surgery department of the prestigious University Hospital Bratislava, Slovakia, before progressing to the Department of Conservative and Child Dentistry. In 2004, after a short break due to maternity leave, Monika opened her first successful private dental practice.

In 2006, Monika relocated to the UK and worked as an associate dentist in Southampton, Salisbury and Sturminster Newton. She also worked for the Hampshire Emergency Dental Services. Monika is the principal dentist and practice owner of Finest Smile Dental Studio.

Monika is incredibly passionate about dentistry. From an early stage in her career, she developed a strong interest in cosmetic dentistry and, more recently, facial rejuvenation. She is dedicated to furthering her skills, and has taken part in numerous dental courses led by some of the world’s most renowned dentists. In January 2015, Monika completed a one-year course at Tipton Dental Academy, Manchester, and achieved a Certificate in Aesthetic Dentistry.

Monika is multilingual. Her first language is Hungarian, and she is also fluent in English, Slovak and Czech. She has an attentive and caring attitude, and a relaxed, friendly and gentle chairside manner, putting her patients at ease. She enjoys helping nervous patients feel comfortable about visiting the dentist.

In her spare time, Monika enjoys keeping fit, reading, travelling and spending time with her son and husband.

Roland played a major part in establishing Finest Smile Dental Studio. He helps manage the premises and assists with the smooth day-to-day running of the practice to benefit our patients.

Roland’s latest project has been overseeing the build of our two new surgeries to enable us to reduce waiting times for hygiene appointments.

Gergo has worked in different supportive administrative roles at Finest Smile Dental Studio since his early teens. He is hoping to join the clinic as a clinician after finishing his studies at dental university.

In his spare time, he likes going to the gym and enjoys reading, cooking, and travelling.

After qualifying in South Africa in 1990, Jasper moved to England in 1993 to work in both private and NHS dental practices. He gained experience and knowledge in many aspects of dentistry during this time. Jasper has achieved numerous postgraduate qualifications in orthodontics, sedation, implantology, and facial aesthetics. He is pleased to accept referrals for these areas, alongside therapy for temporomandibular joint (TMJ) disorders.

Jasper has completed sedation training with the Society for the Advancement of Anaesthesia in Dentistry, in addition to further training in implantology and bone augmentation. He has since helped many patients feel comfortable about their oral surgical procedures with sedation.

Jasper’s special interests include sedation, cosmetics and dental implants to reconstruct and rejuvenate after the often debilitating effects of tooth loss or dentures. He is also interested in head and neck issues and relieving migraines and headaches from a pressure build-up, restricted mouth opening or clicking jaw joints.

Balaji joined Finest Smile Dental Studio in November 2023 with practice limited to Endodontics.

Endodontics is Balaji’s passion and he enjoys all aspects of it. He is currently studying towards an MSc in Endodontics at the University of Plymouth. His focus is centred around the biological aspects of endodontics to produce the greatest benefit for the patient. He always strives for the highest possible standards using the very best techniques and continues to update his knowledge by attending conferences and workshops both in the UK and abroad. He is currently a member of the British Endodontic Society.

He loves catering to the endodontic needs of people from all walks of life and strongly believes in treating patients as he would like to be treated himself.

Outside of work, Balaji enjoys reading, spending time with his family, and staying fit.

Dr Moldovan is the lead endodontic dentist at Fines Smile Dental Studio, currently working as well as a member of the team with international reputation for excellence in Enododontics, John Rhodes.

Octavian graduated from The University of Dental Medicine in Bucharest in 2001. After successfully running his own private practice in his hometown he relocated to England in 2007 where he started working as a general dental practitioner. His passion was always the restorative part of dentistry but soon he developed a very keen interest in root canal treatment procedures and the restoration of broken-down teeth.

Endodontics soon became Octavian`s passion, and he started working with a Dental Operating Microscope in 2012. Working under magnification and light made possible to enhance his senses for the best visual control inside a tooth for the optimum accuracy and precision during treatment.

He is dedicated to always furthering his skills and knowledge and is currently working towards a Master of Science in Endodontics degree at the University of Warwick.

Octavian is very calm and empathetic in his approach. He puts his patients first, helping them understand their treatment and giving them as much detail about the procedure as they are comfortable with.

Paulina graduated from the Poznan University of Medical Sciences in Poland in 2006, and then gained experience in various private practices. In 2011, she relocated to the UK, and went on to achieve her MSc in Aesthetic and Restorative Dentistry from the University of Manchester in 2015. She then furthered her skills with a two-year Fixed Orthodontic Programme run by Jonathan Sandler, a well-known and respected orthodontic specialist.

Paulina has always strived for excellence and precision in her work. She uses a dental microscope every day and is fully confident with both root canal and cosmetic treatments. Paulina has always been interested in restoring smiles, not just teeth, and expanded her knowledge to include aesthetic medicine with courses at the Bob Khanna Institute. She has taken many courses in lip fillers and anti-wrinkle treatment in order to provide a perfect frame for straight teeth.

Paulina is very passionate about her profession. Outside of work, she loves playing tennis and has recently started kitesurfing, which helps her to relax after a long day at work.

Octavian graduated from the University of Timisoara, Romania, in 1993. After running his own successful private practice for many years, he relocated to England in 2007.

Octavian enjoys building on his skills and knowledge, and has attended a variety of postgraduate courses, both in the UK and abroad. He achieved a prestigious certificate in cosmetic and aesthetic restorative dentistry to further continue his professional development.

A keen supporter of digital dental techniques, Octavian fully integrates modern digital smile design systems into his work to ensure the very best results. He loves the way modern technology can help him place teeth in perfect harmony with the face using a combination of composite bonding and orthodontics.

Octavian takes pride in personalising treatment for each patient and creating a bespoke treatment plan, using minimally invasive procedures to achieve the best outcome possible.

Dr Ostroumova has been a Consultant Dermatologist since 2007, and was previously The Dorset Skin Cancer Lead as a Consultant Dermatologist at Royal Bournemouth and Christchurch Hospital.

Kate enjoys the diversity of people she meets on a daily basis. She loves giving great care and customer service to them, communicating and improving their lives through their oral health.

In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, outdoor pursuits such as skiing, trekking, and gardening, as well as reading a good book.

Klara joined the practice in 2019. She firmly believes that healthy gums are the foundation of a beautiful and healthy smile. She always strives to educate her patients about the importance of good oral hygiene and the impact it has on their overall health. She takes pride in providing comprehensive periodontal care, and personalised treatment plans tailored to each patient’s unique needs. Seeing her patients regain their oral health and confidence is the most rewarding aspect of her job.

Outside of work, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and friends, reading books, and travelling.

Felicity graduated with Distinction in the Diploma in Dental Hygiene from the University of Cardiff in 2017. In addition, she has a Biochemistry Honours Degree from University of Exon.

Her favourite part of her job is helping people to feel more confident about their smiles. She has been working at the practice since September 2019 and loves that every day is different.

Outside of work, she enjoys paddle boarding, spending time with her friends and family, and travelling abroad!

Karis joined the team at Finest Smile in November 2016. She really enjoys her role on reception, greeting patients with a smile and working with the rest of the team to ensure the smooth day-to-day running of the practice.

In her spare time, Karis loves arts and crafts and going on days out with her two daughters. She also enjoys going for walks and out for dinner with her family and friends.

Edina joined the team in May 2023 and really enjoys working at Finest Smile Dental Studio. Before beginning her role with us, she was a spa and wellness manager for ten years.

She particularly enjoys helping others and going the extra mile to make sure the patient’s visit is as enjoyable and stress-free as possible. She also ensures the smooth running of the practice.

In her spare time, she likes travelling, cooking, going to the gym, and wellness as well as spending time with friends and family.

She likes that every day is different in the practice. As a team worker, she needs to be able to work with all of the clinicians. Also, she adapts well to unexpected situations and new challenges. There is no time to be bored as a dental nurse.

Outside of work, Szilvia loves spending time with her husband and two young children and enjoys visiting new places.

Jusztina joined the practice in July 2015 and thoroughly enjoys working with such enthusiastic, friendly and professional colleagues at Finest Smile. She became a fully qualified dental nurse in the summer of 2016, a role she truly enjoys.

In her spare time, Jusztina enjoys reading, travelling and spending time with her friends.

Nicoleta studied at the Dental Arch dental school in Winchester and qualified in March 2018.

She joined the practice in October 2023. She loves seeing people who have been unhappy with the colour or shape of their teeth getting the new smile that they’ve always wanted.

Outside of work, Nicoleta loves spending time with her husband and daughter. They particularly enjoy visiting new places, when they get the opportunity. She also loves relaxing with a cup of good coffee and getting stuck into a good book.

Bibi – the Finest Pet

Everybody at Finest Smile Dental Studio loves Bibi! Bibi is a great asset to the team and enjoys treats, going for long walks and taking long naps.
